Isabella & Eddie: A Wedding at Hacienda Herencia de Allende

Isabella and Eddie's wedding in San Miguel de Allende ran three days deep, and each one carried a different side of who they are. The Cuban-American couple built the weekend around their culture and their relationship instead of a single ceremony, and it showed: sophisticated in some moments, loud and joyful in others, always unmistakably theirs.

It started with a white party under the trees at Hacienda Herencia de Allende, planned by Caro Rey. The next day brought a callejoneada, the traditional walking parade through San Miguel's historic center, complete with mojigangas (the towering papier-mâché figures) and a live mariachi band leading guests through the streets. The night closed with dinner on the rooftop at Quince, La Parroquia lit up in the background.

The wedding itself closed out the weekend, back at Hacienda Herencia de Allende. The ceremony took place at a whitewashed mission-style chapel on the property, its arched entrance framed in blush and cream roses, hydrangea, and greenery against a deep blue sky. Isabella wore a strapless, ruched ballgown with a long cathedral veil for the walk down the aisle.

For the reception, the celebration moved into a draped white tent built like its own room: ivory fabric overhead, terracotta fringe pendant lamps hanging low, and garlands worked through the drapery above long tables set with rattan cane chairs and centerpieces in blush, burgundy, and cream. Once dinner wrapped, a mini basketball hoop branded "Isa & Eddy" kept guests entertained between songs, and the dance floor stayed full into the night. Between the white party, the callejoneada, and the wedding day itself, San Miguel de Allende didn't just host the celebration — it was part of it.
